Meaning of Agate

Agate is a common stone found in the world of crystals, but red moss agate is much less abundant than others. It is a grounding stone, representative of the earth mother, reminding you to relax your mind of daily stresses and woes and turn your attention to nature, when you need it most. This stone is energetically stimulating, creating physical energy for the body and the mind. This agate is here to whisper in your ear that it is time to take time for yourself; breathe deeply, reconnect, be with nature, and reflect on what it is you need at this time in your life.

Crystals have an incredible ability to retain information, hold energy, and cleanse energy. There is no wonder why we use them in our technology today, and there is still much to learn about them. A practice that I may suggest when you purchase a crystal or stone piece, is to take a moment in the day to sit down with it in your hand and close your eyes. Focus on your breath, feel the surfaces of it on your skin, and set an intention. Breathe it into your piece.
